    I need to reestablish contact extender fields. After clearing all contacts and starting from scratch I lost my fields.

    In Janitor I already tryed to rebuild extended data tables – no effect.

    I deinstalled and reistalled the plug in – no effect.

    Before doing all this I already was on the most current version.

    Versions are:

    Hi Siegfried

    Did you back up or export your contact fields before using the Janitor?
    You un -installed which Plugin, the Base SLP or the Contact Extender?
    What is your url to your site?



    Thank you for responding.

    I did export all fields prior to using Janitor, however extendended fields were not showing. I still have the data that should go to these fields though.

    I just deinstalled the contact extender.

    I spoke to the developer about your issue. Brief explanation is that the SLP is built so that if you are not upgrading to a new version of a plugin or addon it says “do nothing” ( the help tecxt in Janitor states ” using the Delete option will require you to deactivate any extended data add-on packs and install a newer version to get field data back.”
    Unfortunately since you used Janitor (last resort option) your Contact Extender is probably confused since you are not installing a newer version but the same version you already had. So next step:

    1) Go back into Janitor/Settings
    2)Go to Contacte Extender Settings and delete what is in there for Contact Extender settings
    you should see something like this Array installed
    Array( [installed_version] => 4.3.02)

    installed_version: 4.3.02
    3) Then reinstall CEX.
