Is there a way to enforce a user to use a valid zip code? I  implemented the SLP plugins in our Dutch (NL) site. The users are able to just fill in “1” as a search zip code which leads to “Hong Kong” for instance. The user should at least fill in 4 digits and 2 characters to have filled in an existing Dutch zip code. Or is there a way to restrict him/her to search only in the Dutch/Belgian area? I can’t find a way to restrict  the user to prevent him/her to fill in a wrong code.

There is no option for that at the moment.  It will have to be coded by using jQuery on the address input field.  You can modify the search form HTML and add that using Enhanced Search and the Search Layout tool.

This is the second time I’ve seen that request.   I am going to put an “address input rules” item on the Store Locator Plus enhancements list for a future release.
